Full Description

Standing stone of schist with no evidence of tooling. Its name derives from a legendary association with Macbeth's stepson Lulach. The stone measures 1 m wide and 0.5 m thick, standing 2.55 m high. It stands at the centre of a circular enclosure 13 m in diameter, with a stony bank up to 1.5 m thick and 0.2 m high. The interior contains a scatter of boulders including one carved relatively recently into a stone ball.
