Full Description
Designed landscape, of late 18th and early 19th century date, comprising parkland, policy woodlands, avenues and walks, with formal gardens, quarry garden and a large walled kitchen garden. Designed by Thomas White Snr, who modified the strictly formal layout associated with 'Old Castle Gordon'. There are also some forestry plantations planted aftre 1937, and a formal gardent dating from the 1950s.

Following rebuildnig o fthe castle Thomas Wite Snr was commissioned curca 1786 to landscape the park, work which removed most of the previous formal layout. The present landsacape is lagely as show on the 1808 Roy Map.
