Full Description
Site of standing stone. Traditional site, hence the name of the hill. A standing stone stood on the hill but it was blasted and removed for building purposes. Watt suggests that a stone circle stood on the East part of the ridge 'about 50 years ago' and that it was removed to build a neighbouring threshing mill, but ONB, written at that time, does not mention any circle. No further information.
