Full Description
Site of a standing stone which measured circa 1.7 m high, and 1 m wide, and which in 1978 was canted over. Site visit by RCAHMS in 1996 recorded that nothing was visible of this standing stone in an arable field. Although suggested to be a prehistoric (Bronze Age) standing stone, it does not appear on the OS 1st edition map suggesting perhaps that it was placed there in the 19th century, perhaps as a cattle rubbing stone.
