Full Description
Site of cairns. Several small cairns on the farm of Backhill were excavated in the 19th century. One contained three concentric circles of stones at the centre of which were found calcined bones. OS found no trace of these cairns in 1961. The site these cairns is no longer known. See also NJ81SW0024.
