Full Description
An archaeological watching brief was conducted from August 2015 to June 2016 by AOC Archaeology prior to development, after a walkover survey and desk-based assessment had been conducted on the development area (NJ44SE0088). A medieval pit and the potential remains of a truncated hearth were recorded at turbine 2. The pit contained a variety of domesticated and wild plant remains, with a seed providing a radiocarbon date of 777-975 AD.
