Full Description
Priestwell Villa was built in 1895, designed by a Mr Alcock (possibly John Alcock) for Charles J. Macpherson, Solicitor. The 1st edition OS map shows three buildings on the site where the house was built. Historic tax rolls show the land was valued at £4.6.11 in 1912. It is alleged that in forming the foundations for Priestwell, human remains and various coins were found. No further information on this.
