Full Description

Upright stone set securely within a packing of moderately large rubble. It is the only clearly anthropogenic feature within an area of rock outcropping. Of uncertain date or purpose. Also recorded during walkover survey carried out by Liz Jones in June - July 2024 ahead of proposed woodland creation (NJ15SE0079). It stands 0.8 m high and up to 0.5 m wide, tapering to the top with a triangular profile.
