Full Description
Remains of an area of rig and furrow. Aerial photography in 2006 recorded the rigs as running in several directions. The site was recorded during a walkover survey carried out by Rathmell Archaeology in July 2017, undertaken to consider the historic environment within the Haddo House Deer Park (NJ83SE0152). The earthworks are located in the open areas of the Deer Park to the north and south. Where the rig and furrows are easily distinguishable, they are formed of earthworks approximately 6 m wide, 5 m apart, and up to 20 m in length. The site lies within the Haddo House designed landscape (NJ83SE0076).
