Full Description

Three clearance cairns recorded during a walkover survey carried out by Rathmell Archaeology in July 2017, undertaken to consider the historic environment within the Haddo House Deer Park (NJ83SE0152). At least three separate areas of large rounded stones and boulders were recorded within the Deer Park, in the field to the south of Craigie Wood and the areas associated with rig and furrow (NJ83SE0077). The individual cairns are located at NJ 88146 34450, NJ 88194 34608, and NJ 88071 34557.
