Full Description
War memorial standing within the churchyard of Panbride Newton Church (MAB36019). A rough stone tapering base supports a square pedestal, on which stands a squat, short, square column of roughhewn block. On top of this is a thin capital on which stands a small stone cross. Plaques on each side of the pedestal commemorate losses during the First World War. The commemorative inscription and the list of names are repeated on a more recent, single, plaque on the base.
The full transcription of the memorial is held in the AAS Digital Archive.
