Possible cup-marked stone or standing stone recorded near this location by George Currie during a field survey in circa 2004, characterised as a split slab of sandstone measuring 2 m in length. The location of the stone is described as 'in the second field at Craigowl [Hill], at the narrowest point to the south, on a slightly lower contour than the gate, and at the south of the dump'.
