Full Description

Standing stone, of pink granite. Coles says it is the remains of a stone circle, but there is no trace of this, and the gradient makes it unlikely that there ever was a circle here. The downslope position and the gradient raise doubts about the antiquity of this site. A sheep burial has disturbed the stone-hole.
