Full Description
Church built in 1895 as a Free Church, with late 20th century additions and alterations. It is a single storey, 5-bay church built of tooled, coursed grey granite with a square tower to the northwest. The principal elevation to the south has an advanced centre section and doorway, a large rose window, and a Celtic cross finial on the gable apex. Either side of the rose window is a date stone, that on the west 1843, on the east 1894. The side elevations of the church are plain with tall narrow round arched windows. It was named the Kelman Memorial Church until the congregation was united with that of the nearby St Peter's Church in 1999 when it became Peterculter Parish Church. In front of the church stands a Boys Brigade commemorative stone with plaque celebrating 100 years of the 47th Company Culter Bots Brigade.
