Farmstead, still in use, depicted on the OS 1st edition map as several buildings including an L-shaped building, a single range, the two almost forming a U-shaped steading with open court to the east.

Farmstead, still in use, depicted on the OS 1st edition map as several buildings including an L-shaped building, a single range, the two almost forming a U-shaped steading with open court to the east. A probable house with garden lies to the west. South of the farmstead is a small croft with a corn mill to the east of it, next to the road. To the north of the farm is a long mill lade, a well, and a mill pond at its northern end, leading south to the mill. By the 2nd edition the croft and small mill have gone. The farm has been altered with a square block being added to the northwest corner of an L-shaped building. Another small building lies to the east beside the lade, possibly representing a mill and the well is no longer shown. There are a number of later additions and alterations shown on the current edition map, with the mill lade no longer shown. The remains of the mill lade were uncovered and excavated by CFA in 2019 during a watching brief within the cable route corridor for the Moray East Offshore Wind Farm (NJ66SE0330) and recorded as a linear ditch (NJ75NW0157).
