Full Description
The Alvah war memorial commemorates the dead of World War I and II. It is a rectangular monument with carved beading down part of the edges. It is surmounted by an urn on top of a dome which is decorated with scrolls and garlands around its base. On the front, below the inscriptions, are two crossed rifles. It stands on a one-step base, the sides of which are of unhewn granite. There is also a war grave in the cemetery.
