Former Parish church of Forgue, still in ecclesiastical use. It was designed by Archibald Simpson in 1819 and built between 1819-1821. The interior was reworked in 1872 with an organ added alongside various other alterations and additions. Further alterations occurred in circa 1880 and 1926. A hall was added in 1885.

The church is an imposing rectangular plan building with a session house, on raised ground overlooking the graveyard, and site, of the earlier St. Margaret's Church (MAB16489). The centre of the west gable projects as the vestibule and gallery stir with deep-set, 2-leaf timber doors, a raised-centre tripartite window, and a slender stone bellcote with a bell. The nave has alternating roundel windows and pointed arch traceried windows, galleried interior. The church is built of granite rubble, squared at the west end, with granite quoins and dressings, and round and pointed-arch openings. Parts of the Frendraught Pew, dated 1638, are located within the church. One of the monuments within the burial aisle is dated 1674.

The OS 1st and 2nd edition maps show the graveyard on the south side of the church: the burial ground has since been extended to the north and east of the church. The graveyards contain seven Commonwealth War graves of the First and Second World Wars.
