Full Description
An archaeological watching brief was conducted from August 2015 to June 2016 by AOC Archaeology prior to development, after a walkover survey and desk-based assessment had been conducted on the development area (NJ44SE0088). A section of mostly collapsed boundary or enclosure turf/stone bank was truncated during the works. It is not shown on any 19th century OS maps or later, which suggests it may relate to the field systems in use prior to the mid-19th century.
