Description

A watching brief was undertaken by MAS Ltd in May 2008 during the excavation of a small trench for a staywire to be attached to an electricity pole with the King's Grave site (at NGR NJ 48207 67440). The trench was 2.7m long x.0.6m wide and 1.9m deep. No finds or feature sof archaeological significance were observed.
