Description

The stones, the northern of which is now fallen, are situated at the eastern end of a low, natural mound, on the south-facing slope 260 m south of Knowehead steading. The upright stone is 2.2 m high x 1.2 m wide x 0.38 m deep, and the fallen stone is 2 m long x 1 m wide. Thom, and Thom and Burl suggest a lunar alignment, possibly the Moon at the major standstill.
