Description
The grave was on an eroding section of raised beach. No evidence of coffin or grave goods. Skeleton was fully extended; most of the skeleton survived in situ, but some lost to erosion prior to discovery. Skeleton analysis by Dr Margaret Bruce, Aberdeen University; Dental report by N W Kerr, Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. Dept of Dental Surgery. Bone sampled for radiocarbon dating. Director: J R SHERRIFF on beahlf of Grampian Regional Council 100% of the total area was evaluated
