Description

Excavation revealed that each stone stood in a little 'cairn'. At the centre of the ring was a form of cairn beneath which was a pit containing burnt bone, charcoal, sherds of coarse pottery and part of a wristguard of pale green stone. Around central cremation were several others. Fire-marked stones were found near bases of the circle stones.
