Full Description
Remains of two cairns recorded by RCAHMS field survey. The westernmost measures up to 9.3m in diameter and 0.3m in height. It has a discontinuous kerb of boulders and upright slabs of which seven appear to be in situ, the largest measuring up to 0.8m by 0.45m. The second cairn lies circa 13m to the east and measures circa 7m in diameter and 0.5m in height. There is a single kerbstone on the southwest. The top of what may be an upright slab, possibly part of a cist, is visible close to the centre of the cairn. RCAHMS also record a cupmarked stone with 27 cup marks in this vicinity - described as being at circa NJ4334513, and 'approximately 600m along the dry stone dyke leading from the last house at Glenkindie and circa 20m to the side of the wall'.
