Full Description
Possible crannog lying submerged several metres off-shore in Loch Davan, identified during aerial photography in 1996. This may refer to the same site as NJ40SW0003 but the given grid reference is not the same and the description is slightly different. The area identified was surveyed and the loch bed probed with a bamboo cane in March 2014. No evidence by probe or sight was encountered. It is likely that the feature seen in the aerial photograph was submerged vegetation.
