Full Description

The remains of a depopulated settlement with longhouses and enclosures was recorded by aerial photography during winter flying, to the north of the old farmstead of Tomnavone. The farmstead itself lies at the south end of the settlement. It is depicted on the OS 1st edition map as a rectangular building with attached small enclosures. The 2nd edition map shows two roofed buildings. Current OS maps show these to be ruinous.
