Full Description

Remains of a hut circle. Ogston recorded a wall projecting south from it has three hollows or cells within it. These measured 5 ft (circa 1.5 m) in diameter and 4-5 ft (circa 1.3 - 1.5 m) in depth. Part of a more extensive field system/settlement (NJ40SW0007). Trial trenching of the remains was undertaken by University of Aberdeen in October 2024.
