Full Description
Remains of two quarries recorded by Mott Macdonald in 2022 during walkover survey ahead of electricity cabling works (NJ40SE0197). The western one measures 6m by 6.5 m and is at least 0.8 m deep/ It is heavily overgrown. The eastern quarry measures at least 20 m by 5 m, and at least 1,2 m deep. No stones are visible as the face is heavily overgrown.
