Full Description
Two houses and enclosures are visible on the 1st and 2nd edition OS maps. The area is now afforested and overgrown with bracken and brambles. The ruins of the two houses are depicted on the current edition (2006). An archaeological survey in 2007 recorded one building, 4.1m x 10m , orientated north-northwest to south-southeast to the southeast of the track and another 10.9m x 5.5m, orientated east-west to the northwest of the forest track. Both were built with a mixture of rounded pebbles and angular field stones with yellow, clay-based bonding.
