Full Description
Remains of a World War II Norcon pillbox recorded during SCAPE Community Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (CCZAS) in 2022. It comprises a circular reinforced concrete structure 1.5 m in diameter, with six rectangular slit openings around the top perimeter. There is a lip around the top to support a roof which does not survive. This is the eastern of three Norcon pillboxes along the shoreline - see also NJ36SE0178 and NJ36SE0179.
