Full Description
A rifle range situated immediately north of Binn Hill is partly visible on RAF air photos taken in 1945. None of the targets can be seen on the air photos suggesting that this range may have been created in the post-war period. However, two buildings at the south end of the range can be seen on the air photos with a ground marker for aircraft navigation in the shape of an arrow about 50m to the northeast. At circa NJ 3173 6619 there is another ground marker for aircraft navigation which is triangular in shape with the apex pointing northeast.
