Full Description

Early-mid 18th century house, built of Stynie stone and formerly known as 'Red Corf house'. They are 2-storey with dormerless attic, harled with chamfered margins and roof of graded Banffshire slate. The east front of 9-bays has irregularly placed openings in the southern 3-bays, the other openings grouped 3/3 each with a centre door. There are chamfered angles at ground floor at north gable. There are two small single-storey extensions of clay and bool construction, probably early 19th century, at rear. Converted to dwellings for the Glenmore Timber Company by 1788. On site of earlier manor (NJ36NW0003).
