Full Description
Circular rubble dovecot with one continuous string course above the doorway at the East, built in the early-mid 18th century. The slate conical roof has a centre flight hole that is covered by a later square wooden cupola with flight holes and a spiked ball finial. The interior has the remains of wooden nesting boxes and a revolving ladder (potence) of nine arms, which pivots on a rubble stone plinth that is held in position by a cross beam. All the woodwork is done in pine.
