Full Description
Farmstead depicted on historic OS maps. On the 1st edition Torbay is depicted as a small farmstead comprising two buildings almost forming an L-shape, with another small single building to the south. By the rime of the 2nd edition a further small building has been added to on the west side. Now the farm has been expanded with new buildings to the northwest. A field survey was carried out in 2009 by CFA Archaeology prior to a proposed wind farm, which recorded the site remains as a working farm with the 19th century buildings remaining.
