Full Description
Farmstead, now in domestic use, depicted on historic OS maps. It is shown on the 1st edition OS map as four buildings, three of which form a U-plan steading, and a mill pond and sluice to the north-east. On the 2nd edition OS map the southern section of the western wing of the U-plan has been removed. Current OS maps show some minor alterations to the remaining buildings, with the western section now totally removed and other areas depicted as roofless. The mill pond has been infilled. A field survey was carried out in 2009 by CFA Archaeology prior to a proposed wind farm, which recorded the steading is now in residential use.
