Full Description

Remains of a small farmstead, shown on the 1st edition OS map of 1867 as an L-plan steading, open to the east, with a possible cottage to the northeast. The sluice and mill dam lie to the rear of the steading, to the southwest. On the 2nd edition, three new enclosures have been added around the mill, the sluice is not annotated while the dam may be shown, but is not labelled as such. The possible cottage appears to survive, while the steading is shown as a ruin on the current edition (2006).
