Full Description
Remains of a farmstead depicted on the OS 1st edition map. It shows an L-plan range and another building arranged around a court open to the north with another building to the south. A mill pond with lade lies on the southeast. By the time of the 2nd edition, the farmstead appears to have largely gone out of use. The northern building had been removed, the range is shown as unroofed although a small building had been added on its west side: the building on the east of the court remains roofed. A number of small enclosures added to the west of the range are annotated as a sheepfold. Only the remains of the eastern building stand on the east side of the present track. The dam of the pond remains to the south.
