Full Description
Farmstead, still in use, depicted on the 1st and 2nd edition maps. These show a U-plan steading with another building on the southwest side of the court and two long buildings to the southeast. To the southwest of the steading is a rectangular building alongside a lade running from a pond to the northwest. There have since been further alterations and additions and the pond has been infilled. A 19th century source records that there was a legal distillery at the Mains until 1837, known as The Cabrach Distillery.
