Full Description

Farmstead and alleged site of chapel. The suggestion of this being the site of a chapel is based on the name of farm and the finding of bones in the garden in circa 1866. OS site visit 1968 noted that there was then no trace and no local knowledge. The farmstead is depicted on the OS map of 1888 as U-shaped steading with open court to the northwest. The western range extends further north than the eastern range. Two further buildings lie slightly further north. Today only part of the surrounding enclosure appears to survive.
