Full Description
Edinglassie House dating from the early 18th century, and site of a manor. The original part of the house is 2-storey, of red granite, rubble-built on a U-plan. It has 1-window gabled advance wings, a reduced version of Skellater House (circa 1700). It was extended to the east in the later 18th century, remodelled in the early 19th century and again extended to the east in the mid 19th century. The west addition with bay window is of circa 1848. There is an early single storey, long 2-bay ancillary immediately to the east.

Built 1726; on site of castle that was burnt in 1688; remodelled early 19thC; extended to east in 18thC and again mid-19th; west addition bay window c.1850; additions 1890-1900; lodges and gates late 18th/ early 19thC.
