Full Description
Remains of a lime kiln, associated with Tulloch farmstead (NJ31SE0135). Depicted on the 1st edition OS map, but labelled 'Old Limekiln' on the 2nd edition OS map. The limekiln does not appear on the current map but a site visit in 2002 (as part of a survey of limekilns of upper Donside) noted that the outline of the former site can be made out as a depression in the bank. The stones had been removed with some remaining boulders scattered on the bank below.
