Full Description
Remains of a lime kiln. Site visit as part of survey of lime kilns of Upper Donside 2002-3 noted that it was originally a large kiln circa 6 m in diameter. The draw hole has collapsed and the lintels are missing or buried under the spread of stones to the front. The partially intact bowl has been completely infilled with field clearings. A section of the right wall to the front of the kiln is still standing.
