Full Description
Remains of two lime kilns. They are depicted on the OS map of 1867. Field visit 2002 as part of a survey of limekilns of Upper Donside recorded the remains of both kilns. That at NJ3344 1875 survives only as a depression in the ground with a scatter of stonework down the steep bank. That at NJ 3346 1876 on the W facing bank of the burn, survives as a U-shaped depression with a scatter of stones.
