Full Description
Remains of longhouses and part of an enclosure and a limekiln. Two buildings and a D-shaped enclosure is depicted on the OS map of 18867. A lime kiln lies to the west at NJ3227 1543. By 1888 another building has been added to the east. Remains of the lime kiln were recorded in site visit as part of a survey of lime kilns of Upper Donside (2002-3). The upper stonework of the kiln structure and the draw hole have collapsed, with a spread of stones and lintels below.
