Full Description

Remains of a lime kiln that is depicted on both the 1st and 2nd edition OS maps. The kiln is partially collapsed with a spread of stones to the front. The draw hole is largely intact with five lintels in place. The kiln has an external diameter of 6 m, the bowl is 3.8 m wide, and the draw hole 1.2 m wide.
