Full Description
Remains of a limekiln that is depicted on both the 1867 1st edition and the 1888 2nd edition OS maps. The kiln, of external diameter 5.6m, has a large intact draw hole with a stone lintel 1m long over the entrance. The bowl which measures in daimeter, has been infilled by to ground level. The draw hole is 1.4m high, 1.5m wide and 2.3m deep.
