Full Description

Remains of a circular limekiln circa 50 m to the northeast of Drumnagarrow farm. It is 5 m in diameter and is depicted on the 1st edition OS map. On the 2nd edition map it is annotated as an 'old limekiln'. Recorded during a survey of limekilns in Upper Donside in 2002 which noted that the upper structure had collapsed, the lower part of the bowl infilled with stones. The draw hole is partially intact with some of its lintels in place.
