Full Description
Two rectangular unroofed structures, possibly shieling huts, are shown on the OS 1st and 2nd edition maps, close to the burn. Neither appear on the current OS map. Field survey in July 2013 recorded the remains of three shieling huts (centred NJ 3465 0115). The oval structures measured 4 by 3m, with rubble and turf walls 0.6m high.
