Full Description
Remains of an enclosure depicted on the OS 1st and 2nd edition maps and also shown on the current OS map. Field survey in July-August 2013 recorded an ill-defined rectangular structure within the enclosure which may represent the footings of a building. It measured 4.8m by 2.4m with a small stone-lined pit at its southeast end. It is possibly the remains of a corn-drying kiln or a whisky still.
