Full Description

A circular limekiln is depicted at this location on the first edition OS map of 1867. It is not depicted on later maps. The only trace found during site visit as part of a survey of limekilns of Upper Donside (2002-3) was a grass covered hollow with a scatter of stones in the corner of the field.
