Full Description
Farmstead, still in use. It is depicted on the OS 1st edition map which shows east of a track a group of at least five buildings, two with attached enclosures and including a long range, and to the west of the track a rectangular building with attached garden enclosure. East of the buildings is a limekiln. Current maps indicate that the easternmost building has been removed and many of the others have been altered. The limekiln is not shown on the current map and no trace was found during site visit as part of a survey of limekilns of Upper Donside (2002-3).
